Kindermusik Giggles
Want a good Kindermusik giggle?
Shared by Della Micco of New Albany, Indiana:
I was in the grocery store when I ran into a student and his grandma…I kneeled down to talk with him…A few minutes later, we were in deep conversation, sitting on the floor…(grandma too) My student wanted to do Roll over Rover…so, he was wagging his tail and rolling and laughing…
The store manager came out of the waiting room with a security guard, and asked “is everything okay?”
He was watching on the security camera, and thought the boy was hurt and crying…he had no volume…
The little boy said, “Do you want to play doggies too? This is how you do it…sometimes you walk, and sometimes you run. Mrs. Della will sing and we do what she says. You sit down, and lie down, and roll over, and wag your tail.”
As hard as Joshua tried, he couldn’t get the old fuddy duddy to do it.
It was a true Kindermusik moment. I wish I had a picture of that manager’s face. He really wanted to try it, but “had to maintain his professional image.”

From Debbie Elwood of Kearney, MO:
I had a mom from OT tell me a story in class last week. She was at a family reunion with her 2 1/2 year old. They walked up to a teenage relative who asked him for a “pound” expecting him to put his fist out and touch hers. He starting pounding (like hammers) which is one of our favorite Hello song motions and also from M&C Carpenter’s Hammer. Nathan loves to pound. She (the teenager) looked at mom wondering why he did that. She said she had to laugh as she explained “that’s how we pound in Kindermusik.” The teenager laughed, said OK, and pounded with him.

(See, Kindermusik even gets the *teens* involved, too!)
ABC Music & Me’s “Amen Corner”
Tonight I received an email from Sherry Carter, KM educator in Dalton, GA, who shared an adorable story that I have to pass along. I guarantee that it will put a smile on your face and in your heart!
From Sherry:
Today was Kindermusik day at the preschool. One mother related the story of her child’s contribution to the family’s prayer circle this morning prior to leaving for school:
They were holding hands and taking turns praying when the two-year-old (who is enrolled in my class) wanted her turn. After her request was recognized, she sang: “ABC Music & Me,” raised her arms and said “Amen!”
Anybody else had a child intercede to the Lord on your behalf?
